Role Overview: 
We are looking for a Senior Pastor who is warm, approachable, and comfortable ministering to all age groups. This leader will guide our church through a pivotal period of change, providing spiritual leadership and vision while fostering a sense of unity and purpose within our congregation. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Preach and teach with clarity and inspiration, delivering sermons that resonate with a diverse audience.
- Provide pastoral care and support to congregation members, including counseling and outreach.
- Facilitate worship services, rituals, and special events that reflect our church’s mission and values.
- Lead church programs and initiatives that promote community engagement and spiritual growth.
- Collaborate with church leaders and committees to ensure effective governance and strategic planning.
- Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and ages.
- Encourage and mentor church staff and volunteers, nurturing their personal and spiritual development.
- Promote outreach efforts that extend our mission beyond the church walls into the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master of Divinity or equivalent theological degree from an accredited institution.
- Ordained minister in good standing within the United Church of Christ or a comparable denomination.
- Proven experience in pastoral leadership, preaching, and community engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals of all ages.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change while respecting and honoring church traditions.
- Passion for service, outreach, and building a welcoming community.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with church administration and governance.
- Familiarity with contemporary worship styles and technology.
- Skills in conflict resolution and team building.
